Lowman Law Firm Student/Athlete of the Week (thru 11-18)

Collin Andreu – Boys Soccer

Springstead – Sophomore

Andreu served as the unlikely hero in the Eagles’ nail-biting win on Nov. 15 over Weeki Wachee at Booster Stadium in Spring Hill, 3-2.

Collin, who scored a goal and notched two assists in 2016-17, redirected a corner kick for what turned out to be the game-winner against the visiting Hornets.

Besides playing in his second varsity season under Jason Soto, Andreu participates in Pinellas County with his club team, Liverpool FC, based out of Tarpon Springs.

In the class room, Collin is a member of the International Baccalaureate program at SHS and maintains a 3.72 unweighted and 4.1 weighted grade point average.

He’s in his second year with the Springstead Beta Club. He has earned community service hours through Beta Club by singing Christmas carols and visiting with residents of the Forest Oaks of Spring Hill Retirement Home, helped in the Relay for Life at Nature Coast Technical High School and assisted with the annual Coastal Cleanup along the Weeki Wachee River.

For the past four years, he’s been employed on weekends as a Hernando County soccer official at the Anderson Snow Sports Complex in Spring Hill.
